This workshop is designed as an awareness towards the different architectural styles that can be found in Romania and throughout the world. Together with the teacher we will learn about lost villages and stories of how design styles were invented.

Learning Objectives:

• Students will learn about architectural styles and terms.

• Students will discover some of the history of their community.

• Students will create a scrapbook of their findings.

• Students will learn to appreciate the architecture styles found within their community.

Levels:

Beginners : age groups : 6-10, 10-14 yrs

Frequency/duration: 5 weeks/1 hr each

At the end of the workshop students will learn how to make a design project using Romanian architectural elements.
