This workshop is designed for children that love creating their own objects with the help of clay.

The course will include:

• Abilities of using and working with different objects
• Learning the clay techniques: pinch, slab, coil, wheel
• Learning the tools when working with clay: fingers , rolling pins and canvas, popsicle sticks and toothpicks, cookie cutters ,plastic bags , a clay cutter (wire), sponges
• Various carving tools, nuts and bolts, old toothbrushes and anything else you can get your hands on that will create texture in the clay

The children will learn how to create Romanian specific figurines and will also learn their history.

Levels:

Beginners : age groups : 6-10, 10-14 yrs

Frequency/duration: 5 weeks/1 hr each
